NVA is the British hi-fi amplifier manufacturer founded, in 1982, by electronics designer, Richard Dunn. Richard sadly passed away, unexpectedly, in 2019, but the brand is now being taken forward by Tom Danus (who worked alongside Richard for 3 years) and Paul Tiernan, an NVA customer since 2016 and audiophile of 30 plus years who had been helping Richard at shows.

Tom & Paul have prioritised existing users in their first 2 years at NVA, ensuring that heritage models can be serviced and offering retrofit upgrades to bring components up to the latest specifications. That has included fitting high quality power supply components such as Toroidy Audio Grade transformers and Vishay long life capacitors. Tom and Paul are now ready to promote the NVA message to a wider audience. Paul says… “the quality of the latest NVA amplifiers is the best that the company has ever produced.”

NVA sell directly to customers with a 30 day home trial and a ‘Music Now – Pay Later’ option to allow you to test in your own system without upfront payment. The company’s new 70-watt integrated amplifier and semi-omnidirectional loudspeakers will be on demonstration at the North West Audio Show, the first major UK HiFi Show of 2022, 18th – 19th of June.
