Pre-owned inspection & report

It's now more than 40 years since NVA started production. With so many NVA items in circulation it's no surprise that there is often a variety of items for sale on eBay and hi-fi forums. Many of these items will already be more than 2 years old, but please also remember that the NVA warranty is for the first user only. This is because NVA has some very specific user instructions that we cannot guarantee have been passed on to the buyers of pre-owned items.

To assist you, we are happy to offer an inspection and report facility that can be used by both buyers and sellers of pre-owned items. We will check your item(s) to ensure they are working exactly as they should be, advise approximate age, provide a specification list of the major components fitted (e.g. type of volume pot / transformer brand and size), and advise any upgrade options. Sellers can use this service to provide reassurance to buyers in advance of advertising for sale, and buyers can use this service to check their purchases and take advantage of any potential upgrades.

The NVA construction and design ethos differs from mainstream product in many ways, and no-one knows NVA better than us.

Introductory Prices – valid until 30/11/24

(Prices include minor repairs such as re-bonding phono sockets, at our discretion. Prices exclude postage). For earlier models, please contact us for a quote.

£75 – P50, S80, AP10H, AP10P, S150, S300, AP20, INT400, P1

£99 – M300, M600, AP10H+, P2, BMU

If more than minor repairs are required, the above charges are waived assuming that any recommended work is carried out. The same applies if you choose one of our upgrade options.

Additionally, we may offer you the option to purchase a warranty for selected pre-owned items that have been inspected by ourselves under this scheme. We will discuss this with you after the inspect & report process is complete.
